Wow, I've just been surprised and said "hmmm???". lol
A respected antenna shop kura-cafe was on the article of Jimoto-no-kokoro. This article is about its campaign "Small Towns and Villages Gourmet Tournament"
Well, I have bought several products of this tournament. The most delicious one is here.
Juice of Sarunashi, or Actinidia arguta!
Ah, well, to tell the truth, I didn't know the existence of this plant. It is said that this is a vine which grows at the high altitude. The name of its fruit is Kokuwa.
And I felt that this is delicious because it is dominantly sour! Although it says that it contains much of Vitamin C, I found out that...
OMG! This is...
extremely SOUR!!!
It is sour enough to let me forget everything about the food I had been eating. As it is a freshly squeezed juice, I guess it takes full advantage of the sourness which Actinidia arguta has. This is indeed a great one for those who love sour food. As I am keen on gorgeous fruit juice, this will be one of my favorites.
By the way, I didn't know Tamakawa Village, either. Tamakawa Village is locate in Fukushima Prefecture, the same as Tanagura Town.
After a bit of promotion, I would like to go on to my main theme.
I found this passage at the article of Jimoto-no-kokoro.
Our role is not only selling products of rural areas, but also creating connections between people of rural areas and people of urban areas. We often invite producers of such products from rural areas and hold events. We also plan various small visiting tours for these areas. The mission of kura-cafe is to create fans of small town with less than the population of 30,000. It is important to keep the small scale in which they can see each others' faces in order to make fans. We have lots of customers who says "I want to visit kura-cafe because I want to see him/her". kura-cafe tries to offer opportunities so that you can feel as if you had your relatives in small towns which you didn't even know its name. (Quoted and translated from Jimoto-no-kokoro)
Yes, this is her nice words. This is the very essence of kura-cafe, I thought.
And the next passage is below.
There are people who actually became fans of Tanagura Town or Nishiaizu Town, and have visited these towns many times by themselves. In some cases, they held events to promote the towns. And in other cases, they are preparing to launch a guesthouse. This is how Fukushima fans are conncted. (Quoted and translated from Jimoto-no-kokoro)
Wow. It says #1 Fans of Tanagura Town or Nishiaizu Town, #2 Visiting towns many time by themselves, #3 Holding events to promote towns, and #4 Launching a guesthouse. I guess there might be people who appy to #1 and #2. But it must be only me who applies to #1, #2, #3 and #4. Oh, well, if there were other people who apply to the all, I really wanted to make friends with them.
The screen capture is here.
I'm really happy to see an article mentioning my activity as a good example. It seems like they have a big expectation for this. I will make an effort to meet their expectations!
