I found my photo of the Weeping Sakura Tree of Hanazono at Shinshirakawa Station Museum when I visited Tanagura Town last week. Thanks for using it!!
Shinshirakawa Station is located at the southern edge of Fukushima Prefecture, where scheduled buses which go to and come from Tanagura Town. It takes about one and a half hours from Tokyo Station to Shinshirakawa Station, and plus 40 minutes to Tanagura Town by bus.
Shinshirakawa Station has a souvenir shop which I often use on my way home, and also has a station's museum inside the ticket gate which introduces tourism spots of Higashi-shirakawa County by photography. And this time, I happened to notice the update of photos there.
Hmm... oh this is mine... ( ! )
The second prize of Tanagura Town Tourism Photo Contest 2015, "When the sunshine through the foliage spread among the mist", is now being displayed to introduce the Weeping Sakura Tree of Hanazono here! Thanks for using it!
Indeed, I got up in the morning of three o'clock to shoot the tree. It was tough, but I'm happy to see this photo being used in various places. I wish that this photo leads to the happiness of the residents of Tanagura Town.
