Local Revitalization

Japan Marketing Association told me how difficult it is to try to tell my argument to others

It was difficult. It was really difficult. It was really tough to tell my strangers what I take for granted and let them agree with me.

My poster session was all about my issues and dreams in the point of Tanagura Supporter's Ambassador and Tanagura Big Family, based on my regional revitalization activities in Tanagura Town since this spring. The title is...

The Possibility of Supporter's Ambassador in Local Revitalization

~System of Push Service from Urban Area as an Opposite of  Local Revitalization Cooperation Group~

Left Side of the Poster for Japan Marketing Association Conference 2015

Most of the content was about my thoughts about local revitalization and projects of Tanagura Big Family. Of course, I used the business cards of Tanagura Supporter's Ambassador. Ah, yes, I wore the badge of the ambassador, too. It enabled you to know my name so it was more useful than I had expected.

And here's the main issue. I created my work in the very limited time. I severely felt that I was not prepared for a theoretical argument at all.

  • Why Tanagura Town?
  • Any meaning for Supporter's Ambassador?
  • How does it lead to urban-rural migration?
  • How do you prepare money?
  • Do you have any actual migrants?
  • Available in other areas?

Although nobody pointed out to me, the statistics at the last part is not related to my main argument. Although I had realized it during creating my work, I ended up putting them because I had already proposed a summary mentioning the statistics. Looking back now, I definitely think that I should have deleted it for more simpleness and more logicality.

Poster for Japan Marketing Association Conference 2015

I had thought that my poster about local revitalization would not appeal much because most of the posters in Japan Marketing Association were about reporting what is called "marketing". But several people who had some interests directly came up and talked to me. The two-hour poster session ended without free time. Well, it is a very useful training to try to speak out to my strangers. I really want to have the opportunities as this regularly.
