Sakura Report 2015 - Looking for the Possibility for Focal Length of 400mm

Hanami People at Shinjuku Celtral Park

Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/4, 1/640 sec, ISO-100)

I came to Shinjuku Central Park again only in three days. The main purpose is to try and look for the possibility for the focal length of 400mm.

Sakura Report 2015 - Sakura Season Has Now Started in Shinjuku Central Park!

Of course, I don't have such an expensive lens of 400mm. What I use is KENKO DIGITAL TELEPLUS PRO300 2X DGX, which allows any lens to double the focal length.

Three Sakura Blossoms

Canon EOS 6D, Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD, Kenko DIGITAL TELEPLUS PRO300 2X DGX (400mm, f/5.6, 1/400 sec, ISO-250)

It was quite hard to get close to the blossoms at Shinjuku Central Park because most of the trees were high. This is why I wanted to try 400mm, and it looks like it works.

Warm Atmosphere of Sakura and Blue Sky

Canon EOS 6D, Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD, Kenko DIGITAL TELEPLUS PRO300 2X DGX (400mm, f/7.1, 1/400 sec, ISO-320)

The combination of the light blue and the pale pink invites me to the world of a fairytale.

Sakura with Sizzle Feeling

Canon EOS 6D, Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD, Kenko DIGITAL TELEPLUS PRO300 2X DGX (400mm, f/7.1, 1/400 sec, ISO-200)

I took photos with the backlight, too. It was quite new to me because of the sizzle feeling from the blossoms.

The focal length of 400mm is great not only because it gives strong bokeh effect to the background and also because it enables me to capture the image which other people around me can't. My journey to get the best of Sakura continues.
