11 Selected Photos from October 2014

Since I found early autumn colors at Mt. Senjougatake in September, I continued to look for autumn colors, moving down to lower and lower altitudes gradually. Now, autumn colors are available in most of Tokyo city areas. The most peak will be coming soon. October 2014 was such a month of change!

Then, let’s look at the 11 selected photos from October 2014!

1. Japanese Pampas Grass in the Sunrise Time

Lightly, Softly and Fluffily

Japanese pampas grass look the most beautiful in the sunset time and sunrise time. The orange sunlight gives the breath of life to every piece of downs.

2. Tranquil Green Space

If you go to mountainous areas, many of the leaves are still green in October. Such a green space creates shade and tranquil moments for visitors.

3. Milky Way from Oze National Park

This is my second time to see the milky way. Oze National Park is definitely one of the best and easiest places to see this romantic view.

4. Holding the Trunk Tightly

Cats are always cute. But when they strike a pose like this, oh, we must stop and see them.

5. Cycling to the Sunset

After running along the river a bit, the sun gave me a special reward.

6. Do not Dive into the Waterfall!

Known as Niagara in the Orient, Fukiware-no-taki waterfall is a must-see natural spot in Japan.

7. Silhouette of the Mountains

Sunset after the Typhoon is Gone

Typhoons promise us that the air is perfectly clean after they are gone. This is the best moment of photographing the sun.

8. Stage of a Puppet Show

The moon was so bright that I could walk without light in Oze National Park, and this view was like a stage of a puppet show.

9. Walking into the Forest of Autumn Foliage

You will be surrounded by colorful autumn foliage all the way. This is why many people climb mountains in the autumn.

10. Celestially Shining

In the morning when the sun is at a low height, relatively horizontal sunlight decorates the downs like a jewelry. This is also a nice moment of Japanese pampas grass.

11. Waterfall Created by Great Nature

Sanjou-no-taki waterfall is one of the biggest waterfalls in Japan. If you visit here at dawn, this blue water and roaring sound will surely amaze you.
