I walked around Lake Tama in the rain for something beautiful. I have been photographing Hydrangea these days, and I did think it'd be better to visit famous places like Kamakura for Hydrangea. But my sense told me I should visit Lake Tama this day.

Canon EOS 60D, Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM (8mm, f/4.5, 1/60 sec, ISO-100)
Lake Tama is located near Musashi-Yamato Station, which takes around 40 minutes by train from Shinjuku.

Canon EOS 60D, Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM (8mm, f/4.5, 1/60 sec, ISO-100)
It was raining a lot, and few people were walking along the lake.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/800 sec, ISO-100)
I found a bird on the bridge.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/100 sec, ISO-100)
First of all, I dropped in at Sayama Park.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/60 sec, ISO-100)
Sayama Park was full of nature, or rather, full of green. Everything was green and there were few flowers...

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/60 sec, ISO-100)
Heavy rain was making some paths like a river.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/30 sec, ISO-100)
I found Shishiodoshi (water-filled bamboo tube). The sound was quite relaxing.

Canon EOS 60D, Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM (8mm, f/4.5, 1/20 sec, ISO-200)
I ended up finding Hydrangea at a certain place in Sayama park.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/125 sec, ISO-100)
A normal Hydrangea serrata.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/60 sec, ISO-100)
Hmm...at this moment, I felt that the area around the lake, too, might have few flowers.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/320 sec, ISO-100)
I went back to the lakeside.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/160 sec, ISO-100)
And it turned out that the street around the lake was all far from the lakeside other than that bridge. Oh my god...

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/160 sec, ISO-100)
I found one place with Hydrangea near Tamakobashi Bridge.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/160 sec, ISO-100)
It was the first, and the last Hydrangea along the lakeside.

A restaurant of wild birds and river fish.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/25 sec, ISO-100)
Ah, this restaurant has Hydrangea.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/20 sec, ISO-100)
If you have a chance to visit Lake Tama, why not visit here for dinner? By the way, I didn't have time for eating so I bought Tea noodles. It was so delicious.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/50 sec, ISO-100)
After that, I left the lakeside for other parks in the south. And I happened to see the area full of Hydrangea! It was a miracle!!

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/50 sec, ISO-100)
It was the periphery of Higashiyamato Park located in the south of Lake Tama. As it was raining heavily and the paths inside the park was like the photo above, I walked around the park.

A group of Hydrangea serrata in white.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/100 sec, ISO-100)
It seems like the main color of Hydrangea here is deep blue.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/1.4, 1/125 sec, ISO-100)
Hydrangea gathered densely.

Hydrangea and the lines of rain.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/60 sec, ISO-100)
Some of the flowers are yet to bloom. Maybe it takes one more week for the best season, isn't it?

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/50 sec, ISO-100)
This one was a bit different in color.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/100 sec, ISO-100)
Hydrangea serrata and the raindrops.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/100 sec, ISO-100)
Definitely, Hydrangea look beautiful in the rain.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/50 sec, ISO-100)
The periphery was really full of Hydrangea.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/60 sec, ISO-100)
Hydrangea in pink and purple.

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF50mm F1.4 USM (50mm, f/2.8, 1/60 sec, ISO-100)
Hydrangea serrata in dark purple. I guess it should have its own name, but I'm not sure...

Canon EOS 60D, Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 VC USD (90mm, f/2.8, 1/50 sec, ISO-250)
By the way, I took photo of waterdrops, too. It is beautiful, too.

Canon EOS 60D, Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 VC USD (90mm, f/2.8, 1/40 sec, ISO-250)
Just amazing...
