Sakura Report 2015 - Various Views of Weeping Sakura Tree of Hanazono, A Treasure of Tanagura Town
Yamamoto Fudouson Temple is located in the southern west of Tanagura Town. This temple is quite famous for autumn colors. Although Sakura trees had not bloomed yet, I enjoyed the great nature here.

The most famous spot of Yamamoto Fudouson Temple is the steep stairs over there.

I went down the stairs in the first place to get there.

And I walked on the bridge. The sacred red color looked outstanding here.

And I started to walk up the stairs. Can you feel how steep these stairs are?

They are really, really steep.

I arrived at the top! I found a 300-year-old Sakura tree at the top,

and a statue of Koubou Daishi, a famous monk.

It was more scary to walk down the stairs. I really want you to come here to feel it by yourself.

I found a riverside with three small waterfalls in the inner area. The water was so transparent that I could clearly see even the bottom of the river. Yamamoto Fudouson Temple is such a nice place with great nature.

By the way, I found some rare plants on the way. This is Bracken, or Warabi in Japanese.

And this cute flower is Dogtooth violet, or Katakuri in Japanese. Indeed, I saw the flower of Katakuri for the first time in my life. It was so cute!
I will be at Tanagura Town again some day for sure.
