Commonfiled speedwell, or Veronica persica, is a tiny cute flower which blooms in many places of Japan. They are sometimes called "Hoshi-no-namida" in Japanese, which means "Tears of stars". Indeed, they were growing at the riverside of Tama River as if they had been the shining blue stars in the green sky.
Commonfield speedwell only blooms during one day. It blooms in the morning, and it falls in the evening of the very day.
The faintness of Commonfield speedwell has something in common with Sakura blossoms in spring, which many of the Japanese people love. The blossoms of Commonfield speedwell will be available only until the peak of Sakura season. Why not go out to find this faint lapis lazuli color?
