It was a miracle that I found the autumn colors today because we are in the midst of January, and because I was personally thinking that the walk around Kamakura on December 20 was definitely the last autumn colors of this season.

While I was walking down the street of Sojiji Temple, I found this Japanese maple tree with orange leaves and yellow leaves. There's no reason not to shoot this miracle.

Yellow leaves looked more energetic than the orange ones both in the extent of witheringness and in number.

It seems like some temples have autumn colors for really a long time. Is there any study on the period of autumn colors in Japan?
