Fireworks Day Part 3/3 - Tateyama Bay Fireworks Festival

IMG_4946

Canon EOS 6D, Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 IIDG HSM (24mm, f/8, 15.4 sec, ISO-100)

This time, I focused on how I describe the atmosphere of fireworks. I had been more like focusing on how the fireworks draw lines in the sky, resulting in the mere lightlines on black canvas from which nobody can recognize where it was. So I tried including the surroundings to add the attractiveness of this town to the photos.

Please enjoy.

I added the bay and the coast. A lot of smoke appeared at once.

One big sphere of fireworks was floating in the sky.

Two spheres. I love the reflection on the surface of the bay.

I tried using the 50mm lens. It was like the fairies were dancing.

It was like serial explosions.

Many flowers bloomed.

Butterflies were gathering around the big flower.

Wow, really big...

Red fireworks and green fireworks.

One flower bloomed on the top, heading to the sky.

Too huge to fit into the frame...

I shooted the fireworks without the surroundings, too. It is still nice, but lacks something important.

Hmm...

In the midst of the festival, a cloud of smoke arrived at the shore. I couldn't see the people around...

Marine self-explosion. The fireworks exploded right on the surface of the sea.

I shooted it with a wide-angle lens. The sound and the vibration was like a big earthquake. You must come and feel it. Must-see fireworks, indeed.

The marine self-explosion was moving slowly.

It was a fantastic moment to see this festival. Thanks for enjoying all of my photos!
