I managed to photograph what is called "flower in the sky" for the first time.
The filming location was perfect. In the beginning, I thought the location was along the river. As soon as we arrived, my friend invited us to the top of a building with 360 degree views of Tokyo. It was a really nice place to see the fireworks of both Asakura and Ryougoku.
I somewhat brushed up the fireworks photography technique below. I will keep brushing up the technique more, and will summarize it on the blog someday.
- F-value of 8 to get clear image of landscape.
- Exposure time of around 1 second to show lines of fireworks, but prevent too much camera shake.
- ISO of less than 400 to get high-quality picture.
- Tripod to prevent camera-shake. The lower the better to prevent shake by wind.
- Release to prevent camera-shake when shooting.
Now, please enjoy the selected photos of the fireworks!
