This is my second time to come to Mt. Takao, a mountain specified for three star of Michelin in 2007. The last time was in 2010 when I tried to see autumn colors with my friends in the last period of the autumn.
It was perfectly sunny today. The fresh green color looked quite shiny in this most convenient mountain of Japan.
Of course, there were many visitors here. But it was less than what I had seen 5 years ago. This was mainly because today is not Sakura season or autumn colors season.
Yet, the fresh green color is worth visiting for in such a fine weather.
By the way, the red color remained a bit in the Japanese maple leaves. It was like red butterflies were flying between the green and blue colors.
Here's the view from the top of Mt. Takao. It was too shiny to see Mt. Fuji from here, haha. The climb of Mt. Takao is very different from any other mountains in one point, which is that we enjoy eating while climbing. I found plenty of souvenir shops and cafes, where I bought and enjoyed many Japanese sweets and drinks. This is another way of enjoying climbing.
But the most comfortable experience was to sit on the wooden chairs for a moment while I felt gentle breezes through the forest. I love this. Please come and enjoy the great experience at the three star of Michelin.
