I Thought There was a Big Fire

I rushed to Tama River to photograph a lunar eclipse. Although the moon was hiding in the clouds, the more remarkable phenomenon was occurring in the east. The strong orange light was blinking and the cloudy sky was painted in warm orange color.

This phenomenon is a flare stack, which is a process of detoxicating excessive poisonous gas from a factory. I once thought that there was a big fire. The blinks lasted for more than an hour, and the sky of Tama River changed into the one which I had never seen. It was a pity that I couldn't see a lunar eclipse, but I was lucky to see the awesome flare stack.
